The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball game against the Vanderbilt Commodores has been moved to Nashville due to the impact of the winter snowstroms that have swept through the Ole Miss campus and the city of Oxford.
The matchup was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 but because of the snowstroms, the game has been relocated.

The University of Mississippi announced that campus will be closed through Feb 8 as thousands in the area remain without power, water, and reliable communications. Road conditions continue to be hazardous as well.
Current Status: The university is closed through Sunday, Feb. 8, including classes and activities.

Ole Miss awaits more updates
The SEC announced Thursday that the game will be played at Memorial Gymnasium on the Vanderbilt campus, with tipoff set for 5:00 p.m. CST.
The Rebels will host the Commodores for a home game in Oxford later in the season on March 3 and March 4. Those games were originally scheduled to be in Nashville but have now been switched.
All tickets purchased for the Jan. 31 game in Oxford will be valid for the rescheduled home games in March. Vanderbilt has also offered discounts for the second and third level seats for the game.
TV broadcast details are still to be determined.
The Rebels enter this weekend's game coming off a 72-63 road loss to the Kentucky Wildcats on Jan. 24. With the loss, Ole Miss dropped to 11-9 on the season and 3-4 in SEC play. The Commodores are coming off an 80-55 win against the Wildcats at home on Jan. 27. It was the Commodores' largest victory over the Wildcats since 2008, improving to 18-3 on the season and 5-3 in conference play.
For the Commodores, this game will be part of a three-game homestand. They have one more home game remaining, on Saturday, Feb. 7, against the Oklahoma Sooners. For the Rebels, this is the second game of a four-game road trip.
