Knox Kiffin, a 2028 QB prospect and Lane Kiffin's son, does not have the Ole Miss Rebels as one of his initial slate of teams he would like to play for.
Speaking with Rebels RB coach Kevin Smith 's son, on his podcast Under the Lights, the Oxford (Miss.) signal-caller revealed his top 3 teams.
"If you're wondering about my top 3: put Oregon in there. Dan Lanning, great coach. Best jerseys in the nation. Gotta go with Florida, Great stadium, jerseys, you know the Swamp. Can't beat it. I feel like Oregon and Florida, every kid just wants to go to Oregon. You can't beat it. They've got everything," Kiffin said, making his top choices clear as day.
The last one, however, came as quite a shocker as it was one of the most storied — and now, talked about rivals of the Rebels: the LSU Tigers.
"Then definitely I feel like LSU is up there now. I don't know, the culture there is different," Kiffin added.
Although it is very early in Kiffin's recruitment process, the QB is already making visits to his top programs.
Knox Kiffin announces LSU visit
On Sunday, Kiffin announced that he will be in Baton Rogue this Saturday for an informal visit as an LSU Tigers prospect. Kiffin's early interest in shortlisting his schools, and LSU being one of his first choice shows the interest he brings to the table.

However, LSU is yet to reciprocate that interest via an offer to the Oxford QB. If Brian Kelly is planning so, he should do it soon as the 2028 prospect already has offers lined up from Power Four programs like SMU.
Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Sacramento State, Murray State and most recently FIU, have also stated their interest in Kiffin by extending offers.
All that said, Kiffin will need to see some more action in his high school years to secure offers from his dream programs.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder played sparingly as a freshman last year at Palos Verdes (Calif.) before transferring to Oxford ahead of his sophomore campaign.
This year, he has appeared on one game for Oxford, and completed 4 of 7 passes for 109 yards, while rushing three times for yards and a touchdown.
More visits and further gridiron action will heavily influence how hot of a recruit Kiffin becomes next season.
