If there is one thing that Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin will always do, it is keep receipts, and LSU head coach Brian Kelly gave him a big one.

Earlier in the week, when appearing on The Brian Kelly Show, Kelly talked about the LSU-Ole Miss matchup and how excited he and the team were to play and keep the Magnolia Trophy in Baton Rouge, where it deserves to be. Well, Kiffin heard that and took note of it.

"We're looking forward to it," Kelly said. "We're going to keep that Magnolia Trophy right here in Baton Rouge right where it deserves to be, and our guys are excited for the opportunity."

Then, when Ole Miss took down LSU 24-19, it didn't take Kiffin any time at all after getting off the field to post a photo of that quote to show Kelly, he heard him and was happy to prove him wrong.

Kiffin is always a troll on social media, and after a win of this magnitude, of course, he is going to go and take a shot at Kelly, who, honestly, took a shot first.

LSU made the game close in the end, but on a crucial 4th and 3 play, the Rebels were able to get a huge conversion to wide receiver Dae'Quan Wright for 20 yards, but more importantly, for the first down. Wright had a big day with four receptions for 66 yards, but wasn't able to find the end zone.

Ultimately, Ole Miss was able to have that, bend but don't break defense, especially when LSU scored a touchdown late, but they did allow a two-point conversion to make it a three-point game. At that point, it was in the hands of the offense, and they certainly got it done, to the joy of Kiffin.

Opponents really show learn not to poke the bear that is Kiffin because he will remember, he will keep receipts, and he will remind you of it when the time comes.
