John Garcia Jr., the national college football recruiting analyst at Rivals, reported that Watkins was committing to Ole Miss, a big pickup for Kiffin and the Rebels.

Winston Watkins Jr is a four-star prospect per On3s Industry Rankings. He is ranked the No.38 wide receiver and No.40 player in the nation for the 2025 recruitment class.
The Rebels have one of the best groups of wide receiver commits in the 2025 class, with Watkins joining, five-star Caleb Cunningham, four-star Dillon Alfred, and three-star Samari Reed,
The Rebels are set to lose three of their starting wide receivers from the 2024 season, all heading to the NFL. It gives opportunities for this freshman to play in year one of the program, something Lane Kiffin is not afraid to do if they show they have the ability.
