Madison Scott selected in the 2025 WNBA Draft by Dallas
On Monday evening, one of the best Ole Miss women's basketball players in program history was selected in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Madison Scott went with pick 14 to the Dallas Wings, making it back-to-back seasons with Ole Miss players selected in the draft.
Scott was a massive part of the Rebels, making four consecutive NCAA Tournaments and helping them to a Sweet Sixteen spot this season. She averaged double-digit points per game for the last three seasons.
Transfer John Bol finds a new home in Florida
Freshman John Bol, who hit the transfer portal after limited time on the court in his first season, has found a new home. Bol has transferred to UCF, joining Johnny Dawkins on the Big 12 team. The former McDonald's All-American was expected to do big things for the Rebels but failed to see much playing time, averaging 4.1 minutes per game.
Five-star 2026 recruit sets official visit to Ole Miss
Ole Miss is set to receive a visit from one of the top players in the 2026 recruiting class. Caleb Holt is ranked the nation's No.3 overall player by On3, and his first official visit will be in Oxford. The Georgia native is a top prospect, with Auburn and Alabama also high on his list.
Ole Miss players set to participate in PIT Basketball Tournament
Ole Miss players Sean Pedulla and Jaemyn Brakefield will participate in the PIT Basketball Tournament starting Wednesday in Virginia. Both will compete in the pre-draft tournament to boost their stock ahead of the NBA Draft.
