Ole Miss football was all the support Trinidad Chambliss needed to win his legal battle against the NCAA.
The Rebels have had Chambliss's back against the NCAA since day 1, and their support extended to his legal battle as well.
Trinidad Chambliss the next Heisman winner?
Ole Miss QB coach Joe Judge became all the rage on social media on Thursday for many things, but one thing he said in particular about Chambliss was exactly the type of affirmation Rebel Nation needed for the QB's return in 2026.
When Judge was asked as a witness about his opinion on Chambliss's potential to win the Heisman, the Rebel's QB coach did not hesitate a bit.
"I believe that's a fair statement," Judge said, per The Clarion Ledger.
"In terms of where he finished after this year. In terms of him not having played in a full season this year, and in only 10 games out of a 12-game regular season, he started and performed at a really high level for us."
Chambliss's performance in 2025 sqaurely put him in the Top 5 QB conversations, if not the Top 3. Not only did he lead a rather chaotic Ole Miss to the semifinals, they lost to Miami with just a one-point difference then.
Had the Hail Mary worked, Chambliss would have easily been a National Championship level QB.
There is a chance this year brings that around for him.
Plus, with no Lane Kiffin stealing all the attention that Chambliss should have gotten in 2025 for Heisman hype, the QB is all set to compete for the coveted trophy this season as a top returning QB.
After finishing last season with the third-highest yardage for a QB and finishing at No. 8 on the list , it is about time he gets a call from New York as a Heisman finalist.
