Ole Miss currently owns the No.15 recruiting class heading into the final day of the early signing window. The flip of four-star offensive tackle Connor Howes from Arkansas added to a solid two days. However, they must keep a team from flipping one of their four-star recruits.
The Rebels have one player yet to sign from their 2025 class: edge Tylon Lee. He will announce his decision today, and the Rebels are hiding off one of his home state teams, Florida State.
Keep or lose Tylon Lee; it's been a top 2025 class for Ole Miss
Four-star edge Tylon Lee was a big riser in the recent On3 recruiting updates, committing to Ole Miss as a three-star prospect. He was initially committed to UCF before flipping his commitment to the Rebels after the win over Oklahoma.
Lane Kiffin has not had to fight too hard over the last few days to keep hold of his class, but he will face a big one today. Florida State is pushing hard to flip Lee and keep him in his home state.
Lee is ranked the No.7 edge in the country by On3, the No.10 player in the Sunshine State, and one of On3's top 100 prospects in 2025 (71).
The Rebels are still in the driving seat, but an official visit to Tallahassee has Lee considering all options. The visit to the Seminoles was to give the program one final look, with the distance from his home to the university a major part of his reason, per 247Noles.
In addition to the solid recruiting class, Kiffin will now look to the transfer portal, hoping to have its fourth consecutive top-three portal class.
