It won't be long before Ole Miss gets its transfer portal commitment. Will they target Princely Umanmielen's brother?

Several top players, including Florida transfer Princely Umanmielen, headed the Rebels' No.1 2024 transfer portal class. Under defensive coordinator Pete Golding, Umanmielen reordered 10.5 sacks, his best tally in his five college seasons.

Princely's younger brother, Princewill Umanmielen, has entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Nebraska. Ole Miss fans are calling for Lane Kiffin to bring Princewill with his older brother heading to the NFL.

Lane Kiffin will weigh up all players in the transfer portal

As soon as it was reported that Princewill Umanmielen was entering the transfer portal, Ole Miss fans headed to X to sell Oxford to Princely's younger brother, who I'm sure will do the same if Lane is interested.

Princewill posted 35 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his two seasons with Nebraska. He was set to be a big part of the defense in 2025 but looks to be entering his name into the transfer portal. It comes after his defensive coordinator, Tony White, at the Cornhuskers, took the same role at Florida State so that the Seminoles could be his desired choice.

Ole Miss offered both brothers during their recruiting cycles, so interest has existed before. It's only early in the transfer portal cycle, but Kiffin will likely get to work after this week's early signing period for the 2025 recruiting class.

I'm sure the Rebels will hold interest in Princewill again, and if they offer Princely's younger brother, they will have a good shot of bringing him in. However, Florida State may be the favorite if they push chips into the center of the table.
