That was a brutal first half for the No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels against Washington State. For the majority of time, Lane Kiffin's squad struggled heavily to put up any numbers on the bowl.
The whole of the first quarter went without any scores for the Rebels, while the Cougars had a touchdown from Zevi Echkhaus. At times, the offense struggled heavily to even keep the ball moving, and an almost interception of Chambliss was the last straw of Ole Miss fans' patience, sending them into an absolute frenzy.
Took 4th-ranked Ole Miss almost the entire first half to wake up and score their 1st touchdown of the day. Now lead unranked Washington State at home 10-7.

Chambliss floundering with his accuracy was the more concerning part for the Rebels fans. The QB who took the least time to climb up the charts this season saw several incomplete passes in the first half, some crucial onesa being in the end zone.
Although Ole Miss finished their second half with a 10-7 lead against the Cougars, it took them almost 30 minutes to get their first touchdown, and a lead against a 3-2 Washington State.
WSU S Cale Reeder a tad behind the play and Ole Miss takes the lead on a TD pass. Cougs couldn't slow the Rebels' offense on that drive -- but they'll get the ball in the second half with a chance to retake the lead.

It was a good drive, but it took Ole Miss a little too long to make, given their offensive ranking; long enough to send the stadium -- and the social media into absolute chaos.

Ole Miss takes a 10-7 just before the half against Washignton State, which had given up 59 points in each of its previous 2 games.

Wtf is Ole Miss doing?

Kewan Lacy running the ball in the direst of conditions was the only string holding the hope for the fans.
Dae'Quiin Wright's completed touchdown alleviated some of that concern off the fans' shoulders.

Kiffin and the Rebels squad still has the second half to flip the script and save themselves the embarassment.
And, in a wild scenario that doesn't sound so unbelievable anymore, if Wazzu pulls this one against Ole Miss, it will simply be the biggest upset of Week 7.
