College football started feeling the heat of the Early Signing Period on Wednesday as programs awaited signing the prospects they have pursued all year long.
The Ole Miss Rebels will probably be in the center stage during the early signing day period after getting abruptly abandoned by Lane Kiffin, the head coach who was the primary selling point of recruits.

Reeling in from the after-effects of Kiffin drama makes the early signing day much more crucial for the Rebels. They will need to pull every string they can to continue bringing in the top recruits across the Nation.
While Kiffin was more of a transfer-portal heavy head coach, we'll see if Pete Golding changes that strategy.
Currently, Ole Miss has announced a class of 16 signings, consisting of six four-star recruits. Five of those six players are defensive players, which is where former DC Pete Golding is working his magic.
