Ole Miss added another talented wide receiver from the transfer portal earlier today, Harrison Wallace from Penn State.

It comes 24 hours after missing out on Washington transfer cornerback Thaddeus Dixon, who chose North Carolina over Ole Miss and Washington.

Wallace, the top receiver in the portal, joins De'Zhaun Stribling, Caleb Odom, Deuce Alexander, and Traylon Ray, who have committed to the Rebels via the transfer portal.

During his four seasons with the Nittany Lions, Wallace had 84 catches for 1,221 receiving yards and six touchdowns. All those stats came over three years, and he redshirted in 2021 after not making a mark on his stats. Wallace was a four-star recruit from the 2021 recruiting class and has one year of eligibility remaining.

Wide receivers see Ole Miss as a step to the NFL

It's becoming common for wide receivers to consider Ole Miss as a place that can propel their draft stock before they declare.

The new wide receivers who have transferred in will think the same, including Harrison Wallace. They also constantly have high school recruits coming through consistently, hoping they can do the same.

Ole Miss has established itself as a wide receiver school, something Lane Kiffin has helped with since he arrived in 2000. His fast-paced offense gets the ball into playmakers' hands quickly, which benefits the offensive players.

As long as Kiffin is Ole Miss's head coach, these top wide receivers will continue to head to Oxford. Could Wallace be the next star, even if it's just for one season?
