Ole Miss continues to schedule visits for transfer portal players, and according to David Johnson of 247Sports Inside the Rebels, it looks to be hosting two top SEC talents this week.

LSU defensive lineman Da'Shawn Womack and Arkansas cornerback Jaylen Braxton have confirmed they will visit Oxford this week. Womack's visit is already set for Tuesday.

LSU fans upset that Da'Shawn Womack has entered the transfer portal

247Sports ranks Da'Shawn Womack as a four-star transfer and will be a highly sought-after player. Ole Miss has done well to get a visit early, although he has already visited Oxford before, leading up to his 2023 commitment to the Tigers.

The former five-star recruit was liked by LSU fans, who took to social media to insist that the staff should try to persuade him to remove his name from the transfer portal.

The Rebels need defensive end help, with both starters set to test their abilities at the next level. Jared Ivey and Princely Umanmielen were excellent this past season, and whichever players come in can do the same in Pete Goldings' defense.

In his limited playing time, Womack recorded 23 tackles, 13 QB pressures, and 2.5 sacks, the 0.5 against Ole Miss this season.

Arkansas CB Jaylen Braxton to visit Oxford on Wednesday

Jaylen Braxton spoke to 247Sports regarding his Ole Miss visit, which he hopes will be on Wednesday with his parents. It's unclear if linebacker Chris Paul Jr. will head to the NFL to stay another season, but the Arkansas transfer from last offseason will surely put in a good word.

Due to an injury, Braxton only played in two games in 2024 but had a good freshman season. 2023 he recorded 21 tackles, one interception, and eight pass breakups.

If Ole Miss could get both of these players on the roster for the 2025 season, it would be excellent work by Lane Kiffin and his staff.
