Ole Miss continues to stack the players from the transfer portal with several top-ranked players. The latest is another four-star wide receiver the Rebels were keen on during his recruitment in 2023.

Alabama transfer Caleb Odom, who nearly committed to Ole Miss before choosing the Crimson Tide, is now in Oxford after transferring to the Rebels. he took a visit to Ole Miss early, taking further visits to Colorado and a reported one to North Carolina. However, he chose Lane Kiffin and the Rebels, with three years of eligibility.

Ole Miss adds another top wide receiver to the room

Ole Miss added another just 48 hours after adding their first wide receiver from the transfer portal. Caleb Odom is another big-framed pass catcher, just like Oklahoma State transfer De'Zhaun Stribling, but closer to the size of a tight end, measuring at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds.

The Georgia native had just one season with the Crimson Tide as a true freshman, catching seven receptions for 65 receiving yards, but appeared in all 12 games in 2024.

Odom was a highly touted recruit from the 2024 class, choosing Alabama over Ole Miss and others. The Rebels were close, with Lane Kiffin putting him at the top of his list. However, he had to wait just a year to bring him to Oxford after missing out during his recruitment.

After losing Tre Harris to the NFL, the Rebels have added two big-bodied receivers to the room. Jordan Watkins and Antwane Wells are also heading to the next level. The room is starting to take shape, and possibly one more receiver, Dane Key, will be added.
