Ole Miss football is seeing the work pay off on the recruiting cycle, landing their fourth commitment from the 2026 class. It was extra sweet for head coach Lane Kiffin, coming from an in-state talent.
Three-star cornerback Braylen Williams has committed to the Rebels, choosing them over offers from Mississippi State, Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, and more. Williams is ranked the No.29 player in Mississippi.

He was committed to the Razorbacks since Novemeber 29, 2024. Williams spoke to 247Sports Inside the Rebels, saying he always envisioned attending Ole Miss.
"Ever since I was growing up, it's always been my favorite school, I always knew I wanted to go there."Braylen Williams
Despite committing to Ole Miss, Williams said he would still visit other schools but is committed to the program. The 6-foot-0 corner also confirmed his family was hyped with the decision, with them all being Rebels fans. Williams has been listed as a quarterback, but Ole Miss loves him at Corner, a position he also loves playing.
"They are excited because my whole family are Ole Miss fans. Channing Ward, who is my cousin, was at Ole Miss like from 2011 and 2012. My whole family was at all the games."Braylen Williams
The state of Mississippi has some top talent from the 2026 class; it is arguably one of the best classes they have seen. The top two are five-star talents, but Ole Miss is not in the picture. However, four-star wide receiver Xavier McDonald is high on the list for Kiffin, and Jase Matthews is another receiver.
247Sports has eight players in Mississippi rated as four-star and two five-star recruits. Only two players have committed from the top ten, and Ole Miss did most of their 2025 work late. Kiffin has secured two consecutive top-20 classes, and don't be surprised if it happens again.
