Things are off to a strong start for Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss football, as the Rebels are 2-0 and ranked the No. 13 team in the country. Off the field, Kiffin has recorded some impressive recruiting wins and it looks like one more could be on the way for him.
For a while now, Ole Miss has had standout wide receiver Jase Mathews high on its board. He's currently committed to Auburn, but that could end up changing in the near future. This week, Ole Miss insider David Johnson put in his official prediction for the Rebels to flip the speedster. Will Kiffin end up getting this done?

Auburn commit Jase Mathews is now predicted to flip to Ole Miss
According to the 247Sports Composite, Mathews is ranked four stars and the No. 15 wide receiver in the country. However, the team over at Rivals sees things a bit differently. This week, Rivals updated its rankings, and Mathews is now a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 WR in the country.
This raised plenty of eyebrows as he took over the top spot from Tennessee commit Tristen Keys, but Auburn supporters aren't going to complain about that. What they will complain about, however, is if Mathews, a 6-1, 185-pounder, ends up deciding that he wants to play for Kiffin over Hugh Freeze.
The insider prediction from Robinson is pretty eye-opening and it has people convinced that some breaking news could be coming before the end of the month. Keep in mind too that Mathews is set to return to Ole Miss on Sept. 27 for the massive showdown against LSU.
Mathews previously took an official visit to meet with Kiffin and Co., but he's now ready for a fall trip. If the Rebels pull off an upset over Brian Kelly and Co. in that matchup, it could end up sending things over the top in the Rebels' favor. For now, Mathews is no question on flip watch and Ole Miss looks to be in good shape here.
