Ole Miss is still pursuing Caleb Cunningham, the top in-state talent from the 2025 class. Ranked the No. 1 player in Mississippi, Cunningham has been committed to Alabama since July.
Other programs, such as Auburn and Florida, have tried to convince him to change his commitment. However, one threat remains to the Crimson Tide: the Rebels, who have an excellent chance to secure a program-changing commitment.
Caleb Cunningham will attend the Week 11 Georgia game
It was announced this week that Caleb Cunningham would attend the Georgia game on Saturday, part of a sold-out recruitment section for Ole Miss. The five-star wide receiver only just visited two weeks ago, in the Week 9 win against Oklahoma.
Ole Miss looked to be fighting a losing battle before the season started regarding recruiting Cunningham. However, in the last month, Lane Kiffin and his staff have clawed it back, with a significant chance that the Choctaw County High School prospect could flip to Ole Miss.
All the signs are posostive and Kiffin is doing eveything possible, not letting him leave until Sunday morning the last tim he was in Oxford for a Saturday game.
Ole Miss has one of the best offenses in college football, and next season, it will have a talented sophomore quarterback in Austin Simmons. Cunningham and Simmons have communicated a lot with this season's backup quarterback, pushing to get the 2025 recruit to come to Oxford.
""Me and Austin have a great relationship. He's fun to be around. That's my dawg for sure. He's telling me to stop playing ans come to the SIP!" "Caleb Cunningham speaking to On3
The game on Saturday could open Cunningham's eyes to how much he would be loved at Ole Miss. The crowd will be electric, and the Rebels are set to go toe-to-toe with one of the best programs in the country.
