Ole Miss baseball stamped its name into the SEC Tournament quarterfinal stage, beating Florida 3-1 on Wednesday in a later start due to weather conditions. This now means they can make the semi-final stage, with No.2 seed Arkansas in their way on Friday. They lost the regular season series to the Razorbacks, dropping a close rubber game in Oxford. However, this is a one-game shoot-out, so they have a chance.

Ole Miss softball resume NCAA Tournament in the Super Regionals

Ole Miss softball is back in action after its success in the regionals over Arizona. They face a familiar foe in Arkansas, a team they have already beaten over three games this season. This time, it is in Fayetteville, but the Rebels are one of the hottest teams in the tournament in recent months. Game 1 is on May 23, with game two the following day. Sunday will be game three if it is needed.

Chris Beard lands the highest recruit in program history

Although most of the spring work has been via the transfer portal, Ole Miss basketball landed a 2025 recruit and the highest-rated in program history. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Niko Bundalo is the 31st-ranked player in the country, and he committed to the Rebels after opening up his recruitment, originally committed to Washington. Matthew Murrell was the previous highest recruit with a rating of .9850, but Bundalo beat that with a rating of 0.9879.

Top Mississippi 2025 recruit names Ole Miss in his top 5

Four-star defensive lineman Nolan Wilson is the No.3 ranked defensive lineman and top-five recruit in Mississippi. The Picayune native has announced his top five schools, including Ole Miss. Wilson also has Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Miami. However, the Rebels are said to be leading, making him a top priority.

Ole Miss continue to push for Mississippi State commit

Lane Kiffin looks to have greatly emphasized in-state talent in 2026, including Mississippi State commit Emanuel Tucker. After a recent visit, the No.13 ranked offensive tackle is being made to feel like a priority; the program went in-home, looking for a future flip.
