It's been a crazy weekend for the Ole Miss Rebels, headed by the 2025 NFL Draft. It was a successful three days for former Ole Miss players, with several more being picked up as UDFAs. Record breaking NFL Draft For Ole Miss players

Ole Miss saw eight players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, setting a program record in the seven-round draft era. Walter Nolen and Jaxson Dart got the count underway in the first round, with Tre Harris, Trey Amos, and Princely Umanmielen going on day 2. Jordan Watkins, Chris Paul Jr., and JJ Pegues were day three selections.

Several other ole Miss players were picked up as UDFAs, including Jared Ivey and Isiah Hamilton, who headed to the Seattle Seahawks, and Antwane Wells joined Dart in the Big Apple.

Ole Miss baseball run-ruled and softball lose to Tennessee

Ole Miss baseball suffered a run-rule by No.9 Vanderbilt in game 3 of the series, but did win it 2-1. The game finished with a crushing score of 13-0 and saw coach Mike Bianco ejected. They face Austin Peay next, followed by a series against Oklahoma.

The softball team lost the rubber match against No.1 ranked Tennessee. After winning the first game 3-2, the Rebels lost the final two games 6-0 and 7-1 in Oxford. They face rivals Mississippi State in the next SEC series.

Chris Beard holds in-home visit for top portal player

Ole Miss basketball has had a long streak without a portal commit, but they are pushing for three top prospects, one of whom is Kentucky transfer Travis Perry. On3 reported that Head coach Chris Beard would go on an in-home visit to get a commitment over the line. The Rebels were high on Perry during his recruitment and are once again.

Ole Miss football has several top recruits on campus

Lane Kiffin and his staff hosted several top prospects over the weekend, with No. 1 LB Izayia Williams, coveted TE Mack Sutter & blue-chip S Chace Calicut all impressed with Oxford. Kiffin has gone strong over these past few weeks, looking for another top-20 recruiting class.
