Ole Miss women's basketball star Cotie McMahon added a new one to her list of accolades this season on Sunday.
The Ohio native's consistent performance this season didn't go unnoticed by the
Wooden Award National Advisory Board, as they named her among the 15 student-athletes selected for the Wooden Award All America Team and the Wooden Award Trophy, recognizing the Most Outstanding Women's College Basketball Player in the United States.
The forward is to be named on the 2025-26 John R. Wooden Award National Ballot.
This would be her 20th personal feat this season after making it to the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Top 10 Watch List and the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Late-Season Team.
McMahon's recognition in the nationwide award makes her status as one of the elite in the nation more evident, especially given her 675-point season.
Averaging 21.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in conference games, McMahon's performance came in clutch on days when the Rebels needed her the most. That also explains the multiple accolades the SEC Newcomer of the Year has raked in.
