Ole Miss set to receive visit from four-star 2026 quarterback in March

Ole Miss football recruiting news has been minimal over the last two weeks. While every team seems to be dropping news of a new commitment from the 2026 class, the Rebels do not.

Ole Miss has just two commits early in the 2026 cycle. However, Lane Kiffin and his staff do much of their work during spring and into the season. They may look slow off the mark, but there is a method to everything Kiffin does when recruiting.

The visits are going to start flowing in Oxford, with Kiffin having another top prospect on campus in March. Four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar will visit Ole Miss on March 18, followed by further visits to Missouri and Syracuse.

Sidwar is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Those rankings have him as the No.22 quarterback and the No. 8 player out of  Pennsylvania. He has picked up 14 offers from power conference teams, including his home state program, Penn State.

The latest news about a quarterback visit comes fresh off another 2026 quarterback-planned visit. According to On3's Hayes Fawcett reports, four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth is set to visit in June.

Ranked the No. 6 quarterback by 247Sports, Duckworth is set to visit Oxford on June 20 to 22, his final scheduled visit. The Alabama native will also visit Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.

Lane Kiffin could do with grabbing one of the top quarterbacks in the 2026 class after missing out on a 2025 signal-caller. However, at least the Rebel's head coach will not have been too concerned about having Austin Simmons for the next two seasons.

Luke Fahey and Rees Wise are also targets for the Rebels. Ole Miss will have a new quarterback in from the 2026 class, but which one will wear the Rebels jersey?
