Ole Miss surprisingly not ranked in the On3 2025 Way-Too-Early College Football Top 25

They have who over Ole Miss in the top 25?

Although this past season's National Championship game has not yet taken place, media are starting to drop their 2025 Way-Too-Early College Football Top 25.

On3 pair Andy Staples and Ari Wasserman dropped theirs today, and after checking twice or maybe thrice to make sure there wasn't a mistake, it turns out they do not have Ole Miss ranked in their top 25.

Ten SEC teams made their list, all in the top 20. Two surprising ones are ranked in the top 25, ahead of Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.

I know the Rebels have lost a lot of talent, so it is not outrageous not to rank Ole Miss in the top 20. However, having the Sooners and Aggies in the top 20, who are also experiencing an almighty change, especially on offense, is a different opinion.

It's good for Ole Miss. There is no rat poison or Lane Kiffin and his team to deal with unless they sneak up the rankings before the season starts. It also gives the team something to target. If the media doesn't believe we are a top-25 team, then we will show them we are.

In his five seasons at Ole Miss, Lane Kiffins has finished in the top 25 in three and started in the AP Poll top 25 in the last three.

It's important to know that this isn't the AP Poll, so Ole Miss may still be ranked ahead of the 225 season. We will see how spring ball and fall camp go but keep those receipts.
