Ole Miss vs. Duke: How to watch the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, odds and team news

Can Ole Miss finish the season with another Bowl win under Lane Kiffin?

Ole Miss will look to record a third double-digit winning season under head coach Lane Kiffin in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. The Rebels face Duke, the first time they have faced the ACC team in their history. A win for either team will move them to ten wins.

Unlike Duke, Ole Miss is returning nearly their full roster from the regular season despite several heading for the NFL draft. Jaxson Dart, Walter Nolen, Jared Ivey, Princely Umanmielen, Jordan Watkins, and Trey Amos are just a few who are suiting for the last time with their teammates.

Ole Miss's only opt-out is linebacker Chris "Pooh" Paul Jr., who will likely be replaced as the starter by Khari Coleman alongside TJ Dottery.

The Blue Devils will be without starting quarterback Maalik Murphy, who has transferred to Oregon State. Henry Belin IV is slated to begin, throwing just 33 passes in his three seasons in college football.

Leading rusher Star Thomas will also be absent for Duke, entering the transfer portal just before Christmas. This is a massive blow for head coach Manny Diaz, who will roll with Jaquez Moore, a capable running back.

The Rebels are over two score favorites in this game, but expect it to be much closer than Vegas expects. The Blue Devils' defense is one of the best in the country, and they play very physically.
