Ole Miss men's basketball gets its SEC basketball schedule underway later today, facing the Georgia Bulldogs at the Pavilion. The Rebels come into the game off a disappointing loss to Memphis. However, they have looked good in their non-conference schedule, recording wins over BYU and Louisville, both Quad 1 wins, respectively. The two losses were both against Quad 1 teams.

After such a long season and with so many games, Memphis's performance can be forgiven. The Tigers are a good team on their day, but now Ole Miss needs to bounce back in SEC play.

Georgia has just lost one non-conference game against Marquette, a Quad 1 team currently ranked No.8 in the latest AP Poll. Their Quad 1 win came against St. Johns. They also have good wins against Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.

After missing the first nine games through eligibility, Georgia guard De'Shayne Montgomery has been electric in his three starts, averaging 16 points per game. Forward Asa Newell is averaging 15.5 in 14 games. Sean Pedulla leads Ole Miss in points per game with 14.7.

Can Ole Miss continue its nine-game winning streak as the moneyline favorite? Last season, the Rebels faced Georgia once, losing on the road 69-66.
