Ole Miss basketball welcomes No.13 ranked Texas A&M to the Pavilion on Wednesday evening, looking to bounce back from the OT defeat to rivals Mississippi State in Starkville.
The Rebels may have dropped the game against the ranked Bulldogs, but they were still bumped up five places in the AP Poll thanks to their impressive road win over No.4 ranked Alabama.
Chris Beard has the team playing some impressive basketball. Even in the loss to the rivals, Ole Miss played good basketball in patches and could have stayed unbeaten on another day. If they can beat Texas A&M, it would mean two wins from three against top-15-ranked opponents, which I'm sure Coach Beard would have been happy with.
The Aggies beat LSU last time out, ending a two-loss streak against Alabama and Kentucky. Texas A&M has two players averaging double-digit scoring: Zhuric Phelps (15.6) and Wade Taylor lV (15.4). If they can keep those two players quiet, the Rebels have a good chance of moving to 5-1 in SEC play.
