The party is on in Oxford!
After months of backing their QB in the courtroom, Ole Miss is celebrating his victory the only way the Sip knows how—by making the rest of the SEC wish they were invited.
Oxford showers Trinidad Chambliss with love
The SBJ Pavilion experienced it first. Chambliss brought the house down before he even stepped on the court, appearing on the Jumbotron to a deafening ovation.

Pete Golding was also in attendance with Chambliss to see the Ole Miss men's basketball team take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Then, the party headed to downtown Oxford, where Chambliss went viral for taming a mechanical bull to let off steam from the drawn-out eligibility battle, with the crowd cheering him on.

Chambliss was officially granted eligibility for the 2026 season after having his previous three motions all rejected.

There was never a doubt about the love Chambliss got from the Rebel Nation, though.
During his courtroom break, the fans got Chambliss to sign whatever they could get their hands on. Yes, even a tissue box.
The Rebels QB signed a football, then two neckties pattered like the flag of Trinidad and Tobago, then a tissue box leaning over the railing as Judge Robert Whitwell prepared his ruling.
The relief washing over the Grove after Chambliss got his injunction was palpable in the celebratiosn, one that Chambliss wholeheartedly participated alongside the fans.
Expect the buzz to remain at a steady roar until the Nashville spectacle kicks off against Louisville for Ole Miss's season opener.
Chambliss's remaining job is simply proving the fight was worth it.
The party was fun, but Nashville is where the rubber officially meets the road for the Rebels' title hopes.
