Ole Miss Rebels are in full swing to take on their ultimate grudge match of this season against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Of course, the Bulldogs are trending as the favorites to kick the Rebels out of the College Football Playoff bracket. However, all Pete Golding truly needs is just a couple of things going right for the Rebels to pull off the upset.

What Pete Golding has planned for Gunner Stockton

He revealed one of those 'keys' during his media appearance on Monday.

“And I think it’s really key for us on base downs to not allow him to extend plays with his legs. You got to create some third and longs by creating negative yards plays early so you can have a plan for him. But they’re really balanced in the run game on base downs," Golding said when discussing the Bulldogs QB Gunner Stockton.

"And so it’s tough to account for the run game and him extending plays when they do pass it. So we got to be really sound up front and make him be a pocket passer and try to beat us with his arm, which he’s shown the ability to do. And we got to be able to change the picture on him and make him go to a second read," the Rebels head coach continued.

When the two teams met earlier in October, Stockton had just replaced Carson Beck as the starting QB and was still finding his footing. Now, after playing a whole regular season and getting his team's revenge against Alabama in the first-round of the College Football Playoff, Stockton has improved a ton.

The only thing the Rebels need to take care of is not allowing Georgia to pile on massive yardage and points from the very beginning.
