Could one of these three players be the next commitment for Ole Miss Football?

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is actively still working the transfer portal and recruiting the 2025 class. It feels like we are close to another commitment for the Rebels. Could it be one of the players below?

Keelon Russell, Quarterback

Ole Miss is still without a 2025 quarterback commitment. Could Keelon Russell be the first? As it stands, Russell has committed to SMU. However, after his April 28 visit to Oxford, David Johnson of 247Sports Inside the Rebels predicted that Russell would flip his commitment to Ole Miss on April 29.

Though it's been a minute since the prediction, there is still optimism that Russell could flip his commitment. The Texas native has scheduled a visit to Alabama at the end of the month so that it would rule out a commitment to Ole Miss in the next week or so. However, Keelon Russell could be a good bet for the next 2024 commitment if Chris Hardie and Ti Mims fail to commit to the Rebels in May.

Russell is a top 10 quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class, ranked No. 7 by 247Sports. Ole Miss fans, myself included, would love to see Keelon Russell flip to Ole Miss at any time. If it does materialize, the buzz around the news would be huge.
