4. Will the new defensive transfer portal players settle in quickly?

The Rebels have added ten new defensive players from the transfer portal, with it being likely over half will be starters in 2024. With that being the case, spring practice will be an important process in getting the new players settled into defensive coordinator Pete Golding's system.

Star players Trey Amos, Princely Umanmielen and Chris Paul Jr will be leaders on the field despite being new players on the roster. They have significant SEC experience and will be key for Golding as the Rebels will have inexperience behind the starters.

If this defense clicks quickly, they have the talent to be one of the best in the country.

5. How much rotation will we see on the defensive front?

With the additons of Princely Umanmielen, Walter Nolen and true freshman Kam Franklin, will we see more roatation in positions next season?

Umanmielen played the Jack position at Florida, which is similar to the Buck position at Ole Miss. Suntarine Perkins picked up ALL-SEC True Freshman honours last season at that position in 2023. Walter Nolen comes in, with Akelo Stone still on the roster. Also, true freshman Kam Franklin looks to have the qualities to feature in season one, with talented veteran Jared Ivey back for another season after an impressive 2023.

With all the above talent in the same positions, could we see more rotation than usual in 2024? Or does Pete Golding have other plans we have not seen yet?
