EA Sports recently confirmed that their new college football game will be hitting stores this summer. Today, Ole Miss Football confirmed they would be a playable team in the game.

It's been 11 years since EA Sports last released a college football game, with plenty of fans frustrated over that time with no sign of a new game. However, in 2021, EA announced that the college football franchise would be returning. It's been three years of waiting, but fans are getting the game they expected this summer.

Today, Ole Miss Football announced via X (formerly Twitter) that the Rebels would be a playable team in the EA Sports College Football 25 game.

All 134 FBS schools will feature in the game. Players who opt to participate in the game will receive a free copy of the game and $600, part of a NIL deal. Players can also choose not to participate, with their roster spot being taken by a generic player.

Head Coaches and non-FBS schools will not feature in the first instalment of the game, while NIL and the transfer portal will be available in-game.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released this summer, with a full game reveal coming in May.
