Ole Miss Basketball head coach is changing the culture down in Oxford. The fans are buying into it, with the Pavilion set to be a sell-out against Auburn on Saturday.

Ole Miss men's basketball made it three wins on the bounce yesterday, defeating rivals Mississippi State 86-82 at the Pavilion.

The game was a sell-out, like most rivalry games. However, the Chris Beard effect looks to be in full swing as Saturday's game at home to Auburn has already sold out.

The Tigers are ranked 16 in the latest AP Poll, having slipped down the rankings after the loss at Mississippi State. The Ole Miss home crowd will be in full voice, looking to get a win to help them jump back into the top 25.

Selling out back-to-back games is the momentum that Chris Beard is bringing to Rebel Hoops. It started with the quality of players Beard brought in from the transfer portal. The team is beginning to gel together on the court, bringing in the fans to boot.

In his first season with Ole Miss, it's remarkable how quickly Beard has got things up and running. Fans were expecting maybe a season to really get going. However, the fans have been treated to some great basketball from the team, now sitting with an 18-3 record and 5-3 in conference.

The Ole Miss fans are buying into what Chris Beard is building with the Rebels. The most exciting part is it's only just the start.
