Ole Miss Basketball will look to heap more pressure on Kentucky Basketball as they travel to the Rupp Arena tonight.

Both Ole Miss and Kentucky will be looking to end different losing records when the sides meet tonight in the Rupp Arena. Usually, having home-court advantage is a benefit. However, Kentucky have lost their last three home games against Florida, Tennessee and Gonzaga. The three losses in four games for head coach John Calipari have seen criticism from the media, along with Kentucky dropping in the rankings.

The Rebels have lost their last two games, the latest a close encounter against current ranked 11 South Carolina. Chris Beard hasn't lost three games as a head coach since the 2020-2021 season. Ole Miss have a 1-4 record on the road in conference play. However, could this be a good time to play a usually more consistent Kentucky team?

An area both teams are struggling is the rebound game. In Kentucky's latest loss, they had a rebound success rate of 41.9%, while Ole Miss is 47.9% on the season. They are ranked a very low 279 in rebound success in the league. The Rebels will likely need a rebound success rate of over 50% if they want to capture their second conference road win.

One stat both teams are excelling in is three-point shooting percentage. Kentucky are ranked number one, with a high 41% success rate. Ole Miss are ranked number ten with a 38.7% success rate. Expect a high amount of success from outside the arc in tonight's game.

Kentucky's Antonio Reeves is ranked in the top 40 players in points per game with 19.6. He has been one of the stand-out players for the Wildcats this season. However, if Ole Miss can keep him below his average, it will help towards a victory.

One key player who is questionable for the Wildcats is forward Tre Mitchell. The senior has missed the last two games against Gonzaga and Vanderbilt. Mitchell is an important part of the rebound game and will be a miss if he can not make the court tonight.
