Week 9: Arkansas 10, Ole Miss 21
Ole Miss win in Fayetteville for the first time since 2008, but it was hard work. The Ole Miss run game was shut down, managing just 70 rushing yards in the game. Luckily for the Rebels, Jaxson Dart put together two 70+ yard scoring drives in the second half to give the team a significant victory in their quest for the college football playoffs. The focus switches to a potential SEC Championship game with three games remaining.
Week 10: Ole Miss 17, Georgia 20
Ole Miss looks to be heading to overtime against No.1 ranked Georgia after both defenses have excellent second-half performances. Just a field goal from each team was the only point scored. A 48-yard walk-off field goal hands the Rebels their first season loss. Despite the loss, the performance shows that the team can hang with the elite in conference football.
Week 11: Florida 21, Ole Miss 48
Their second bye week looks to have come at the right time as Ole Miss put on an offensive masterclass; Florida can only dream of producing this season. The Rebels have 700+ total offensive yards in the game, with Ulysses Bentley IV having 200+ scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. Sitting at 10-1 after the game, Ole Miss secured a playoff spot but still had SEC Championship game hopes.
Week 12: Ole Miss 28, Mississippi State 20
Ole Miss make the SEC Championship game, with a tough Egg Bowl victory, and back-to-back wins over their rivals Mississippi State. Jeff Lebby's side starts well, going 10-0 up after the 1st quarter. However, the Rebels turned on the style, with Dart and Harris combining twice, moving the wide receiver to over 1,000 yards on the season and 12 touchdowns. The Rebels head to the SEC Championship game for a rematch against Georgia.
