Earlier today, Ole Miss wide receiver Dayton Wade took to social media to officially announce he was heading to the NFL Draft.

Ole Miss wide receiver Dayton Wade had already spoken about his desire to chase his dream and try his luck at the next level. Today, the Georgia native confirmed he would be doing just that, making his declaration for the NFL Draft official.

Wade took to social media to thank his family, coaches and others for the support he has received while in Oxford.

"“First and foremost I would like to thank God, my family, TopShelfPerformance, ADAPT Physical Fitness & Therapy, Coach Kiffin and the entire coaching and support staff, and everyone that has played a role in this journey. With that being said, I’ll be foregoing my final year of eligibility and declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Thank you Rebel Nation.”"

Wade had a career-high 830 receiving yards from 55 receptions while securing four touchdowns. The senior had three receptions for 61 yards in the Peach Bowl on Saturday. He nearly signed off with a touchdown. However, it was ruled out due to offensive holding.

Dayton Wade follows defensive end Cedric Johnson and cornerback Zamari Walton in declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
