Ole Miss Football Get Huge Commitment From Four-Star Home State LB Jarcoby Hopson
Four-star linebacker Jarcoby Hopson committed to the Rebels on April 22—another Mississippi prospect from the 2025 class for head coach Lane Kiffin.
Ole Miss Football received its third in-state commitment from the 2025 recruiting class. Four-star linebacker Jarcoby Hopson, ranked the No. 20 LB and No. 171 overall player in On3 industry rankings, committed to the Rebels.
Hopson follows Lake Cormorant High School teammate Kam Franklin to the Rebels. Franklin was part of the Ole Miss 2024 recruiting class, and his older brother Jarnorris was also part of the Rebels 2024 recruiting class. Hopson announced his commitment on social media with the line "Home is Home."
The latest commitment propels Ole Miss to a commendable No. 17 in the team recruiting rankings, a two-spot climb. With only five commits, this achievement speaks volumes about Kiffin and the coaching staff's early success in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Ole Miss Make 2025 Offensive Lineman Max Buchanan Top-6
Several 2025 recruits have released their lists of schools they are considering, with Ole Miss making those lists.
Four-star inside offensive lineman Max Buchanan released his top-6, with Ole Miss making his list. The Rebels were the only SEC team considered by Buchanan, with the other five top programs from Power 5 conferences. The Florida native has two teams on his top-6 from his home state. As of April 23, there is yet to be a clear leader in his commitment decision per On3.
Another Florida State prospect who had Ole Miss in his top-10 is cornerback Graceson Littleton. Alabama and Penn State were two of the other schools Littleton is considering in his recruiting. The Nittany Lions have taken an early lead in his recruiting prediction, but not by much per On3.
