Ole Miss football vs. Jacksonville State football

Jacksonville State just recently became an FBS team, so when Ole Miss went up against them, they were in the FCS.

The 2010 season was another rough one for the Rebels as they went 4-8 and missed the chance at making a bowl game. The loss at the beginning of the season to Jacksonville State should have been a bad omen for Ole Miss that season.

The Rebels lost a close one with Jacksonville State in double overtime 49-48. The Rebels blew a 31-13 lead in the fourth quarter to the Gamecocks in a game that still haunts all Ole Miss fans to this day.

With Jacksonville State now in the FBS, Ole Miss may want to avenge their last game defeat and try to erase that loss as best as they can.
