In May, head coach Lane Kiffin may be zoning in on transfer portal players. However, the visits haven't stopped for future recruits.

Despite a heavy focus on transfer portal recruiting, head coach Lane Kiffin is chipping away at recruiting the 2025 class. With eight total commits thus far, the Rebels are ranked inside the top-20 team recruiting rankings per On3.

Wide receiver is a position that Kiffin focuses on more, with the ability to sell the dream of being a receiver at the next level if they commit to Ole Miss. With the help of his staff, Kiffin has two receivers committed from the 2025 class, with more on the team's radar.

One receiver Ole Miss is chasing for a commitment is out of Alabama, Ti Mims. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound receiver is ranked the No. 146 overall recruit by 247Sports. Mims is coming off an official visit to Oxford this weekend.

The three-star wide receiver holds offers from Auburn, Florida, and others. However, you get the feeling that Mims and Rebels recruiter Kelvin Bolden have struck up a special connection, with plenty of positive back-and-forth via social media. On3 has Ole Miss as a heavy favorite to land Mims with their predictor machine.

Ole Miss already has two four-star commitments from the 2025 class at receiver: Jermome Myles and Dillon Alfred. Mims is similar in size to Alfred, though he offers a slightly different play style.
