The college football Early National Signing Day finished up on Friday, with the SEC dominating once again. Ole Miss made in another top 20 rank under Lane Kiffin. How about the eight SEC teams the Rebels will face during the 2024 season? Where did they finish up in the 247sports rankings?

Georgia - Rank 1

Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs clinched the number one spot on National Signing Day. It's the 16th consecutive season that an SEC team have clinched the top spot. It was sealed with the commitment flip of five-star defensive back KJ Bolden from Florida State.

The Bulldogs amassed a score of 315.22 points, with four five-star commits and 20 four-star player commits. Alongside KJ Bolden, linebacker Justin Williams, cornerback Ellis Robinson IV and DL Joseph Jonah-Ajonye were all five-star recruits.

Georgia landed the number one class, even with the loss of top-ranked quarterback in the class, Dylan Raiola. The five-star Georgia native flipped from the Bulldogs to Nebraska earlier this week.

There was concern around the team within the media when numerous top-ranked players from past recruiting classes entered the transfer portal. However, Kirby Smart has shown there is no need to push the panic button in Athens.

Oklahoma - Rank 8

One of the new boys entering the SEC next season had a solid 2024 recruiting class. The Sooners landed one five-star player in defensive lineman David Stone. They also added to their talented running back room. They got a commitment from the number one RB in the class, Taylor Tatum, out of Texas.

Head Coach Brent Venables had 18 four-star commits sign their letters of intent this week. The defense has some potential future stars, especially along the defensive line.

There wasn't much drama with the Sooners recruiting class, with just wide receiver Dozie Ezukama de-commiting and heading to TCU. It was a solid class for Venables, a much-needed one as they transition into the SEC.

LSU - Rank 11

Brian Kelly had all 28 players committed to the team at the start of the week sign their letters of intent to the Tigers. Four-star Offensive lineman Coen Echols was the last to do so on Friday.

Kelly grabbed a four-star quarterback in Colin Hurley and two top 20 ranked wide receivers to their offense. LSU also scooped up the number three tight end in the class, Trey'Dez Green.

The lack of five-star talent is a slight concern in Baton Rogue. However, they have compiled a talented bunch of four-star players, 19 of them. It was the third-highest haul of four-star players, behind Georgia and Oregon.
