Ole Miss Football: Kelvin Bolden promoted to Rebels tight ends coach
The good news keeps rolling in for Ole Miss as reports suggest Lane Kiffin could promote Kelvin Bolden from coordinator of recruiting strategy to tight ends coach.
Kelvin Bolden, who has been instrumental in recent recruiting efforts, will be elevated to an on-field position, as reported by FootballScoop. Reports suggest that Bolden will be appointed the new tight ends coach going forward.
The vacancy became open after the previous coach, John David Baker, took the offensive coordinator job at East Carolina last month.
Bolden has been with the Rebels for two seasons, making a name for himself on the recruiting trail for the team. He played a big part in the recent commitment flip of 2024 four-star quarterback Anthony Maddox.
Before joining Lane Kiffin, Bolden had worked under Gus Malzahn at UCF and Dan Mullen at Florida in numerous roles.
If the reports are correct, then it's a big nod from head coach Lane Kiffin on the work Kelvin Bolden has done in recruiting. Ole Miss have the number one transfer portal rank, with Bolden being a key part in helping with that.
