Ole Miss Football are locked in on 2025 recruiting, with several visits this week. One of them was talented in-state running back Akylin Dear, who had a great visit with the Rebels.

The state of Mississippi has some high-quality players in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Ole Miss Head Coach Lane Kiffin is aware and is looking to get a high percentage of the top in-state players to commit.

One of those players is running back Akylin Dear, whom Ole Miss took a big step in his recruitment. After he visited Oxford on March 28, Dear said the Rebels were leaders in his recruitment. Ole Miss has heavily recruited Dear, seeing him as a priority commit.

Dear is a four-star recruit and ranked the No. 1 running back and the No.4 2 overall player, per 247Sports.

Ole Miss Lead In Recruitment of Four-Star Safety Ladarian Clardy

Another player coming off a recent visit to Oxford was four-star safety Ladarian Clardy. Clardy was on campus with Dear on March 28, coming away really impressed with his visit.

Clardy had Ole Miss as one of his top three schools, alongside UCF and rivals Mississippi State.

Clardy is the No.15 safety in the 2025 class and the No. 18 player from the state of Florida, per 247Sports.

Four-Star Edge CJ May Loves Ole Miss and Head Coach Lane Kiffin

2025 edge rusher CJ May also spent March 28 in Oxford, with the four-star prospect leaving impressed. May has Ole Miss high on his list, deciding to schedule an official visit this summer.

May is ranked the No. 16 edge in the nation and the No. 12 player out of the state of Alabama, per 247Sports. May spoke about how his family loved Ole Miss, calling it a "great college town."
