FanSided college sports writer Ericka Brockish dives in a predicts where the Rebels will be picked in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The NFL Combine and Draft are just around the corner and college football players all over the country are preparing, Ole Miss players included. Several Ole Miss players declared for the draft, mostly notable Cedric Johnson, who made an appearance in the Reese's Senior Bowl, and walk-on legend Dayton Wade.

With the number of players that declared, the Rebels are destined to have at least one, possibly two players land in the draft, but the majority will likely end up undrafted free agents.

Here is my take on which Rebels will hear their name on Draft Day.

. Round 5. 159. Ole Miss mock draft. Pick 159. player. 532. . Cedric Johnson. Cedric Johnson

Cedric Johnson was the lone Rebel representing Ole Miss at the Senior Bowl. While didn't have a lot of flashy moments in practice or the game, he did turn some heads. Johnson was given honorable mentions on the third day in practice for his performance in one-on-one drills.

Johnson is athletic with power off the line and could used as a great rotation pass rusher. While he may not be ready to be a consistent pass rusher in every game just yet, he can go in and do his job when called upon. If he can refine his movements and technique, he could grow into a great rusher that is used more often.

All NFL teams could use a good edge rusher and Johnson could be a day-three pick that could end up surprising whichever team takes him. He is a pure athlete with strength and power that can be refined by any coach.
