A few days removed from the Peach Bowl win over Penn State, Ole Miss fans received the news they had been hoping for. Quarterback Jaxson Dart has officially announced that he will return for the 2024 season.

During the build-up to the Peach Bowl last week, the media were grilling Jaxson Dart and running back Quinshon Judkins on their future with the Rebels. One of those players has confirmed today that he will be back in Oxford for the 2024 season.

Ole Miss fans can sleep easier tonight knowing starting quarterback Jaxson Dart will be returning with the Rebels next season. Dart confirmed via an appearance on Like A Farmer Podcast.

Head coach Lane Kiffin had said Dart would be staying on in 2024 back in November. However, the two-year starting QB with the Rebels came out and said no decision had been made by himself. When asked by the media, Dart continued to express that his focus was on the Ole Miss season and the Peach Bowl.

Dart had an excellent Peach Bowl, completing 25 passes from 40 attempts for 379 yards and three touchdowns. The 38-25 win helped the Rebels to a historic 11-win season.

Lane Kiffin has been busy this December, bringing in some big names from the transfer portal. However, getting Jaxson Dart back for the 2024 season is arguably the most important thing for the team.

Dart will have fellow returnees Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins and Caden Prieskorn to throw to. On top of that, he will have South Carolina WR transfer Antwane Wells and 4-star JUCO commit Deion Smith.

The next big news Rebels fans want to read is that star running back Quinshon Judkins will be staying with the team in 2024.
