Ole Miss Football: Rebels 2024 schedule breakdown and predictions

The final game of the Ole Miss schedule will be the traditional Egg Bowl game against Mississippi State. The game is usually played on Thanksgiving Day but could have a new game day in 2024. However, it has not yet been confirmed by the SEC.
It was a season to forget for the Bulldogs in 2023. Things didn't go well for first-year head coach Zach Arnett, going 4-6 before getting fired. It wasn't the record that was the concern, it was the manner of the losses. They did manage to keep the Egg Bowl close under interim head coach Greg Knox. However, they did lose the game, resulting in changes heading into 2024.
The Bulldogs appointed Oklahoma offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby as their new head coach. There is a connection between the Rebels and Lebby, with Lebby being appointed the OC at Ole Miss when Lane Kiffin took charge back in 2020.
It's an exciting appointment for Ole Miss's rivals. However, it will likely take some time for it to come together for Lebby. Even so, the Egg Bow will still be a competitive one.
