The first road trip of the Rebels 2024 season is against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons from the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Two seasons removed from the ACC title game, Wake Forest are coming off their worst season since head coach Dave Clawson took charge. The Demon Deacons won just one conference game in 2023, finishing rock bottom of the ACC conference.
The Rebels have failed to beat Wake Forest in their two previous meetings. However, they have a record of 15-7 over ACC teams. The last meeting against a team from said conference was in 2021, beating Louisville 43-24.
It's the toughest non-conference game on the 2024 schedule. However, it should still be a win for Ole Miss.
