Oklahoma - Oct.26
After the game against LSU, the Rebels will be on their first bye week of the season. Coming out of that, they will welcome one of the new SEC teams, the Oklahoma Sooners.
The Sooners missed out on the Big 12 title game in their final season in the conference. They had the same 10-2 record as Oklahoma State but lost out on the head-to-head, losing the Bedlam game. They did manage a victory in their other rivalry game against playoff-bound Texas.
Oklahoma have recently lost their starting Quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who transfered to Oregon. They do have a 5-star freshman ready to step up next season. Jackson Arnold will feature in the Alamo Bowl next week and likely be the starter next season.
They can be a tough team to face on their day. However, they have shown inconsistencies under head coach Brent Venables. Will they be able to handle the tough SEC schedule in 2024?
