Ole Miss Football's Caden Prieskorn makes PFFs top ten returning college TEs list
Pro Football Focus has released a new set of rankings, this time the top ten returning college tight ends. You bet that Ole Miss Football's Caden Prieskorn made the list.
One of the best football sites in the country, PFF have been dropping top ten returning player rankings in college in recent weeks. Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Tre Harris have already made their position lists as top talent returning to college football in 2024. Today, their teammate Caden Prieskorn has been mentioned as a top-ten returning player.
Pro Football Focus ranked Prieskorn number seven on the list, just behind Syracuse's Oronde Gadsden II.
Prieskorn transferred to Ole Miss from Memphis, where he had his best season in 2022, catching 30 passes for 602 yards and seven touchdowns.
Despite missing the first three games in 2023 through injury, Caden Prieskorn still had 30 receptions for 449 and four touchdowns. The senior TE picked up offensive MVP in the Peach Bowl win over Penn State, catching ten passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
Caden Prieskorn is an underrated pass catcher, with Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart targeting the big TE a high percentage, especially on third-down plays. Prieskorn is also a capable blocker in the run game and pass protection.
With talented Virginia Tech transfer TE Dae'Quan Wright committing to the Rebels, Lane Kiffin will have one of the best TE rooms in the country. Expect Caden Preiskorn to have another successful season, boosting his draft stock for the 2025 NFL Draft.
