As we slowly approach the NFL Draft, first comes the post-season all-star games, then the NFL Combine. We have already seen several players accept their combine invite, with Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony being one of those.

The invites are rolling out for the NFL Combine, which starts at the end of February. With the likely number of attendees around the 300 mark, NFL team coaching personnel will be busy interviewing and watching college players.

Ole Miss Safety Daijahn Anthony took to social media to share the exciting news of his NFL Scouting Combine invite.

Anthony will take part in drills such as the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, and the three-cone drill, amongst others. The defensive backs usually take to the field on Friday. However, the schedule has not been released as of yet.

It's been some journey for Daijahn Anthony, who transferred to Ole Miss from Liberty before the 2023 season. Coming out of high school, Anthony was a zero-star recruit with zero scholarship offers., The Virginia native started his collegiate career at Shepherd University, a Division Two team. He then walked on at Liberty University, receiving a scholarship while he was there.

This season, Anthony featured in all 13 games for the Rebels, registering 61 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass break-ups. He also had a forced fumble on the season, a play that will be remembered forever down in Oxford.

During the win over LSU, Anthony came down the field to enforce a huge hit on Tigers quarterback Jayden Daniels, dislodging the ball out and recovered by Ole Miss.

It will be a great experience for Daijahn Anthony, with an opportunity to put on a show for the NFL scouts who will be present. First, he will feature in the East-West Shrine Bowl next week.
