Ole Miss football sends out multiple offers to 2026 and 2027 recruits

This week, we saw several offers sent out to 2026 and 2027 recruits from Ole Miss, with head coach Lane Kiffin looking to take an early step in the players' recruiting.

Getting a step up in recruiting future classes can sometimes pay dividends if a player commits to the program. Early offers and keeping a solid relationship will also help. Below are players that Ole Miss sent out offers to over the last several days.

Bryce Perry-Wright - 2026 Defensive Lineman

One of the most talented players Ole Miss sent an offer to this past week was defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright, who was out of Burford High School, Georgia. A top 50 player and ranked the No. 4 defensive lineman per 247Sports. Perry-Wright already holds offers from several top college teams, including Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State.

James Scott - 2026 Wide Receiver

Oak Ridge prospect James Scott received his eighth football offer courtesy of Ole Miss. Scott, a 2026 wide receiver prospect, has yet to be rated by recruiting sites. However, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, and Houston are the top schools that have offered the 6-foot-4, 200-pound receiver.

Nassir McCoy- 2026 Defensive Back

Rated as a four-star cornerback, Nassir McCoy can also play the safety position. He is ranked the No. 18 cornerback in the nation by 247Sports. Ole Miss frequently dips into the state of Georgia for talent, with McCoy playing his High School football at Burford. Alabama and Georgia are two schools that have already offered the talented defensive back.

Nelson Peterson Jr. - 2026 Quarterback

Top-rated quarterbacks are a hot commodity when it comes to recruiting; four-star prospect Nelson Peterson Jr is one of those QBs. Ranked the No. 15 quarterback in the 2026 class by 247Sports, Ole Miss was the second team to offer the Texas native, following Texas Tech.

Trae Taylor - 2027 Quarterback

Carmel Catholic High School prospect Trae Taylor has already received early offers from Iowa, Miami, and Michigan. He has received one from Ole Miss yesterday. Taylor was recently at an Ole Miss Summer camp, where he met head coach Lane Kiffin. The 6-foot-2 quarterback has yet to be rated by recruiting sites.
