Ole Miss have lost a handful of transfer portal commits to other teams over the last week. However, they have also gained some. Could Lane Kiffin be about to add a top-level cornerback from Alabama?

Ole Miss have seen defensive players Tamarion McDonald, Tyler Baron and recently Tahveon Nicholson all transfer to Louisville. However, they have seen defensive players such as Yam Banks and Amorion Walker commit to the Rebels. Could Lane Kiffin be adding Alabama cornerback Trey Amos this weekend?

Trey Amos, rated a three-star transfer, is set to visit Oxford this weekend. However, Pete Nakos, a transfer portal reporter for On3, has predicted Amos will land with Ole Miss.

Trey Amos transferred to Alabama ahead of the 2023 season, featuring in all 14 games for the Crimson Tide. Amos registered 12 tackles and broke up five passes.

The Louisiana native played his first three college seasons in his home state with Lousiana Ragin Cajuns. Over his three seasons, Amos totalled 60 tackles, 13 pass break-ups and one interception.

It would be another huge get from the transfer portal for Kiffin and the defensive coaches. If Trey Amos does become a Rebel and with the addition of Michigan transfer CB Amorion Walker, could Ole Miss have their two starting outside corners?

With so many ins and outs yet to come for Ole Miss Football, it's anybody's guess where the roster will be heading into spring practice. What we do know is that the Rebels keep trending in the right direction.
