Former Iowa wide receiver Jacob Bostick will visit Ole Miss this weekend.

The Ole Miss roster may be one of the best in the nation. However, head coach Lane Kiffin is still looking for talent via the transfer portal. The latest player to visit Ole Miss is former Iowa wide receiver Jacob Bostick.

With the stacked wide receiver room, it does come as a surprise that the Rebels are looking at a receiver from the portal. The decision to pursue Bostick could be made with the future in mind, as the former Iowa player is a 2022 recruit.

Bostick was a three-star recruit in 2022. However, he has not seen much time on the field in his two seasons with the Hawkeyes, with no receptions. Ole Miss looks to be battling Texas A&M for Bostick's commitment, with the sophomore also looking at other teams.

There is always a chance Bostick could carve out a role if he commits to the Rebels, though it does seem like Kiffin is working the portal for the future of the program. The Rebels have several senior wide receivers on the roster who will depart after the 2024 season.
