Ole Miss Football would love to land commitments from these 2025 recruits

The highest rank for Ole Miss in the 2025 team recruiting rankings is No. 18 via On3. With five-star running back Akylin Dear, two four-star receivers Jerome Myles and Dillon Alfred, plus more, Lane Kiffin will be pleased with how recruiting the 2025 class has gone so far.

The early signing period is still some time away, with the 2024 college football season to be played before. However, the players listed below would undoubtedly be on Kiffin's wish list of commitments from the 2025 recruiting class.

Caleb Cunningham, Wide Receiver

Ole Miss has already secured two commitments from four-star wide receivers and is in the market for several more. One is five-star Caleb Cunningham, ranked the No.2 wide receiver per On3. A Mississippi native, Cunningham looks to be staying home. However, Mississippi State looks to hold the advantage. If Kiffin could turn the tide, it would be an excellent get for the Rebels.

Deuce Knight, Quarterback

Ole Miss is trending upwards when it comes to the quarterback room. With Dart expected to leave for the NFL draft after this season, they have four-star quarterbacks committed from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 classes. Adding one from the 2025 class wouldn't hurt. Top-rated state of Mississippi quarterback Deuce Knight is already committed to Notre Dame. However, Ole Miss pushed the Fighting Irish for his commitment. A flip to Ole Miss would be a dream for Lane Kiffin.

DaSaahn Brame, Tight End

Continuing the offensive theme, rounding off that offensive pass game with the No.3 ranked tight end would be special. DaSaahn Brame has Ole Miss on his final list of schools, though Oregon has the advantage in his commitment decisions. After this season, the Rebels will lose veteran tight end Caden Prieskorn, with the position group a little light. Brame would be the dream signing at the tight-end position from the 2025 recruitment class.

Dawson Merritt, Linebacker

Lane Kiffin has successfully recruited players for the defensive front at Ole Miss, with Suntarine Perkins and Kam Franklin big-time commits over the last couple of years. Linebacker Dawson Merritt is ranked a four-star prospect across the top four recruiting sites, with Ole Miss down the pecking order in his recruitment. When Kiffin blew out his candles on May 9, he may have wished for a Merritt and others to commit to the Rebels.
